To the folks at home- I am currently rocking "Chillin'", from the music page, and pissing myself. Awesome, awesome tune. In as many words as you want- What exactly is going to happen this October 22nd, 23rd, and 24th? We are going to explain, with both words and the raw power of ROCK itself, what exactly the crystals are, and how to align them, to attain success, success, success for yourself. There is a live band (The Missing Teens), a popular television host (Ted Tappert), myself, and two dancing girls. There will be lots of alcohol, a powerpoint presentation that clearly demonstrates each step of the Far Out Way, and of course, paperwork. It is one part motivational seminar, one part cult gathering, and one part live rock show. This is all going down at the Astoria Brewhouse (http://astoriabrewhouse.com/) at 9pm, Friday, Oct. 22nd, then again 9pm Saturday the 23rd, and a 2pm matinee on Sunday the 24th.

Is Deep Sound Diver going to play? Even though Deep Sound Diver is a perfect example of crystal alignment, they are not going to play. People will probably be exhausted by the time the show is done (from getting laid, spiritually, not sexually), so we decided not to put another band on afterwards. Make no mistake, though: Deep Sound Diver are avatars, much like Hawkman himself, towards which we may all strive.

What will the Missing Teens sets be like? Will it be the same each night, or do you expect it to change or evolve?

What will the Missing Teens sets be like? Will it be the same each night, or do you expect it to change or evolve? It's the same seminar each night, so it's the same songs. This is our first run of The Power of the Crystals - hopefully the show will expand, evolve, and become a bit more improvisational. As it is, you will see why these songs were selected, thematically. Each song teaches, or reinforces, a lesson. It's not like a musical, though; you could take away the talking portions and you would have a perfectly fine rock set.

Disregard last question; I just read "its not like a musical" and am wondering why I missed it.

Is it like rock opera (i.e. Tommy etc.?) No, it's a motivational seminar, with music. It's a lot more like a megachurch pastor hiring a house band to play gospel music between his sermons. It has religious overtones - not of any of the "established" religions, of course, but of the worship of the crystals. Which is considerably different than typical religious worship, where so much of the focus is, ultimately, finding God within - we are trying to make God find us, without. There are interview sections, too, so it's not unlike a talk show in some regards.

There's really a shite-load of amazing music, here on this music page. Can you disclose which songs the band are going to play, or do you prefer to keep it a surprise?

Most of the songs on the website are actually not the ones we are going to be doing! I will say though that we are doing "My Old Lifestyle," "Trendsetter," and "Stack of Documents," amongst others. We are debuting four new songs at this show, including a big closing number that I am extremely excited about.

Currently listening to: Fight 2: Pool of Tears Oh, and old Rapt Inside track. I had a fun time writing those, even if it was for my ex-girlfriend with whom I had an unfortunate amount of sexual tension.
